SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS

Join our monthly FREE support group meetings

Suitable for anyone considering, awaiting or following surgery.

We offer friendly meetings online and in person, with a focus on providing a supportive, confidential and encouraging environment. Research shows that having a strong social support network achieves greater success with weight loss and better satisfaction following weight loss surgery.

Meet your bariatric team and feel confident that you can speak in a relaxed and confidential environment. We have a variety of speakers such as psychologists, pharmacists, dietitians and past patients who attend sessions. We provide updates on the latest information and guidance, and answer questions or concerns you might have. For people considering surgery it gives you an insight and opportunity to speak to people who have already had surgery, and can openly advise you about their experiences.

The meetings (both online and in person), have been successfully run for a number of years and have been a great source of support for many people. The meetings are a core part of the aftercare service we offer. We look forward to you joining the meetings.
